Resting in Villa La Angostura

Pleased I moved here from San Martín Los Andes . It's a smaller place but with enough activity to do some people watching. I like the style of kneckerchief and beret and wide trousers . Cool on mature men .
Breakfast I now know in Argentina is loads of carbs . Bread and croissants and cheese .
But before one can rest need to sort out my laundry . All was good . Washed dried and folded . Can't see me using my cycling gear again. I might get away with just this one wash . Glad that's done .
But for lunch I managed to find a local cafe near the bus station and ignored the carta and asked for lomo, dos huevos and some salad . Sin pan . My goto food . They did advertise torta Galesa but not today . Plenty of time for that on my trip .
Who joined me were two couples from Chile and they were driving to Pucon in Chile on Lago Villarica on the way back to Santiago . I must come back and maybe rent a car or bus this area again .

Trout - Trauncha -
The freshwater trout , I was determined to have a good trout so a nice restaurant . It was absolutely delicious larger than I imagined , filleted so no bones . More orangey in colour than I expected . Happy for this but for some reason it wouldn't accept my Monzo card so luckily I had 7500 ARP en effectivo £21. More expensive than my normal food but I also had morcilla ( black pudding ) for a starter oh yes and the flan ( like crème caramel ) for postres. My goto drink now is agua caliente. It's better to arrest my cramps than the good coffee out here.
Early night but at 0600 the first night there was fire crackers and a party of some sort somewhere.
My lower back is still giving me gip so I have enquired for massage and got one at 1630 . I hope it works .
Found a bench and happy to read my book and watch the world go by . Seems to be more tourists/ young people , vibrant today (Thursday) . Nice .
Funny on the same page of the book ( thriller based in Paris ) there was a reference to Madeline ( a child's book that Heidi had introduced me to 4 weeks ago on the Parisiene trip.
Also it referred to the group velvet underground . I'm not a music guru but John Cale comes from Garnat and my first cousin Hilda is John's second cousin . Just a little reminder of things in my life just by reading a thriller in Patagonia.

Anyway decided to stay another couple of days here because I can also Puerto Manzano by bus to visit the pueblo and Costa . Sorted .
